Coconut 3.1

Seems like there was a small bug in the 3.0 version which could cause the bot to hang when connection to the Internet is lost for a few seconds. So here is a little update for those of you experiencing problems. You still need to download Java. You can just replace the Coconut.jar file and keep the data.ini file with your settings in place. If you encounter more bugs, feel free to post them here.

Update: Coconut 3.2 is available for download

“Hi. I am running Ubuntu and when trying to launch the bot I just get the splash and “Reading…” on terminal. It stays tehre for pretty long, I’ll let it be overnight and see what happens…”

It doesn’t work. Terminal says “Running…” and all I see is your splash logo.

  2. Kemblin says:

@shozz: double click Coconut.jar, that is the program.
@lartza: something is wrong with your internet connection/firewall then

  3. Анонимен says:

??????????????? Is This Planned or just Faked ?

    # Automated attacks (constantly attack village at location (x,y), when the troops arrive back home, wait a configurable random time and attack again, repeat this for example 25 times) or attack sequentially: e.g. with the same troops attack village A, when returned attack village B, when returned attack C,… start back with A, etc,… This can be configured for multiple troops.
    # Automatic building of troops (e.g. build 5 praetorians every 30 minutes, repeat 10 times)
    # Nigh mode (for example log out between 23pm and 7am)
    # A sound/sms warning when there is an incoming attack
    # Automated resource sending (e.g send 1000 crop to village at location (x,y) every 15 minutes, repeat this 5 times)
    # Building/upgrade queuing (build/upgrade buildings and fields starting from level 0)
    # Automated upgrading of units in armoury/blacksmith
    # Plan ahead celebrations
    # Add all farms around your village to your attack list (e.g. add all farms to your attack list in a range of 30 fields around your village, the farms can have a maximum population of 100 and the owner can only have a maximum of 2 villages in total)
    # Send and draw back troops in your village when an attack is incoming (30 seconds before an attack your troops can be sent away, when the attack has taken place on your village the troops will be called back. Resulting in no troop loss!

  4. Kemblin says:

It is planned, in fact I have it here already but without a graphical interface ;)

  5. Lartza says:

Internet works fine and everything, no firewall problem. Even other bots “work”(they have some problems with travian or I don’t know how to use them :) .

  6. Kemblin says:

have you tried waiting a few minutes, normally the bot should always go past the splash screen. Maybe after a minute or 4-5 ?

  7. Goez says:

    hi
    its work for the building

but how to set attack or to raid
sory i don’t understand how set or program

  8. Matt says:

I love the bot, it helps me a ton!
Will you ever add a troop building and/or attack/raiding feature?

  9. Matt says:

Oops, sorry, I just read the planned bot functions :)

  10. Lartza says:

I have waited like 2 hours without luck. It is just stuck there. You haven’t coded any error output so I don’t know what is going on.

  11. Kemblin says:

hmm maybe you can try to make a file called data.ini in the same directory as Coconut.jar and chmod that new file to 777

  12. Fritz says:

    Hi there,

I’ve just downloaded the coconutbot, but I have unfortunately no idea how to install the bot

  13. Matt says:

What would be cool for a future version is if you could somehow archive our queue online, so that way, even if our computer is off, the queue will still be filled out.

  14. vol says:

The bot doesn’t do anything. Just sitting there.

  15. Kemblin says:

you need to start it up, file->start…

  16. newbie says:

    i havea little ask
what happend if i dont have the materials for the upgrades in the moment quen i can program the coconut?

  17. Kemblin says:

@newbie: yes, the bot will wait until you have enough resources

  18. Circuitkiller says:

How you add some new tab for id. So with just 1 coconut open, it can open multiple id(of course with difference server) at same time.

And can minimize on tray on windows. Hehe…

    How about it Kemblin?

  19. Onetwo says:

Kemblin, if you need help will the UI, let me know. I’ll hook you up ;D

  20. Dusan says:

    Hi kemblin,

what is the difference between stealth and not stealth mode?

  21. Kemblin says:

in stealth mode the bot will calculate when it can start building something, when stealth mode is disabled it will check the travian site every xx seconds (with a random interval added).

So stealth mode is safer, but probably if you have resources coming in at regular times it will wait unnecessary long.

  22. Dusan says:

That is great, I tried stealth mode, and it started to work when resources was able.

    Great.

  23. Circuitkiller says:

Can i run this program with proxy?

  24. nOki says:

I’m also experiencing the same problem described by Lartza under Mac OSX. I also followed your instruction to create a data.ini file and chmod to 777 but still no luck. Is there any update on the problem that we encountered?

  25. Kemblin says:

the problem is due to the travianbot.eu website not being reachable for you, or your internet connection being down or the bot being blocked by a firewall. The bot will connect every time you start it up, and when it can’t connect it will wait.

I will fix this as soon as I can

  26. daegod says:

I downloaded cocobot 3.1 and extracted the file, it gave me a coconut file and inside it is another compressed file named “coconut.jar”.

I extracted that also and then it contained a series of weird folders with single alphabet name like “A” ‘b” etc.

    What’s wrong?
Heres is the screen shot link
    http://tinypic.com/m/5l87s8/2

I went inside each of those folders and got nothing that can be executed.
Just a bunch of “read-only” “CLASS” files.

  27. Kemblin says:

you only need to extract it once, the Coconut.jar file can be started

  28. Eleni says:

I tried this autobuilder bot and it works just fine.
Now I am afraid that admins will discover that I am using it and block my account.
Could it happen? Has anyone been blocked because of this bot? Or any other?

  29. Echo says:

I cant use chinese account name to login..and
when my villages more than 12 , it cant read t other villages information

  30. Unknown says:

    Hello,
Thank you for releasing the Coconut 3.1 for free Kemblin. I downloaded the last version of java from http://www.java.com and then downloaded the last bot version. After this staff I started the .jar file and put my info in there, saved and data.ini file was created in the folder Coconut. Up to now it seemed to be all right, but after that I receive this:

    http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/690/97432915.jpg

I play on s3.travian.bg which Travian version is T3.5 and it should work but it doesn’t. So please find out the problem or at least explain me how to solve the problem so I’d be able to use the bot. I read a comment that when you are logged in through browser the bot wouldn’t log in, but even when only the bot is working on the computer the mistake is there… I restarted the bot and then tried again with mozilla turned off. Unfortunately the same mistake appears again.

  31. Kemblin says:

ill check that out when i get home from holliday :)

  32. Unknown says:

Obviously Coconut 3.1 unlike CoconutLite 2.1 has problems with bg servers. :S

  33. Kemblin says:

I just tried logging in to speed.travian.bg and it worked without problems. The only problem I can see is when using non-alphanumeric characters in usernames/passwords, I’ll resolve this asap.
    http://travianbot.eu/self_images/speed.travian.bg.jpg

  34. Unknown says:

Yeah, obviously. I really want you to resolve this problem. Now when I know what’s the problem I can just change my password, but I think that it’d be better if coconut is able to use this symbols. Can you tell us something like time and date of the new version so I can download it.

  35. Deatty says:

I can’t wait for your next planned release, with:

#Automated attacks (constantly attack village at location (x,y), when the troops arrive back home, wait a configurable random time and attack again, repeat this for example 25 times) or attack sequentially: e.g. with the same troops attack village A, when returned attack village B, when returned attack C,… start back with A, etc,… This can be configured for multiple troops.

  36. Kemblin says:

    @Unknown: probably somewhere next week

  37. majiera says:

it doesn’t work on mac osX at all

  38. Kemblin says:

@majiera: I programmed and tested the bot on os x so I can assure you it works on osx ;)

  39. [...] A little fix for those who experience problems when using non alphanumeric unicode characters. Also the bot should now be able to handle passwords/usernames that contain the ‘&’ character. I replaced the old version so just re-download the bot here. [...]
